Over Scugog No matter where I am in the city I can always hear the train Nothing is gonna stop me from leaving here, not the G.M. traffic or the rain Making my way back to the ridges looking out over where I was born Blue Heron flying over Scugog bull ruches blowin with the storm The sun has finally cleared up these grey skies, illuminating the fiery Purple Hill Dust covered horses have been washed clean, grazing out on Shirley Road I roll my window down let the sweet air in from Concessions that go on for days Canada Geese flying over Scugog Father Goose is leading the way Backroading all the way through Blackstock, passing by tall stocks of corn Golden grasses soon to be hay bales; the cows in the fields will soon be gone I finally made my way home again as the day has nearly gone by Red Tailed Hawk flying over Scugog, orange sun fading to the sky
